Newborn babies should sleep on the purest materials available. Our crib mattresses are especially made for newborns, with extra firm support and superior comfort. Obasan has chosen to use only pure wool in the padding of its infant mattresses due to the fact that wool is naturally antibacterial and breathable. Our crib mattress is covered in a removable organic cotton jersey which allows it to be aired out and spot cleaned.
