We aim to regenerate ecosystems by supporting   environmentally sound producers, encouraging green   innovation, and sharing knowledge with our partners.

Our mattresses originate in forests and fields, not in a chemical   factory. We act as a bridge between the world’s finest farmers,   producers, and craftspeople. We aim to be a fair and equitable   partner, sharing knowledge, resources and tools to help foster   sustainable livelihoods.

At Obasan, we create livelihoods, not jobs. We engage our   employees in a value-based workspace, where people practice   their trade in a safe, healthy and fulfilling environment.

Our materials must be: natural, organic, flexible, stable,   breathable, supportive, absent of off gases, repellent   to dust mites, non aromatic, strong, durable, adaptable   to a variety of climates.

As a result of these stringent requirements, our end users   will enjoy a rejuvenating, healthy deep sleep.

Designed and created in Ottawa, Canada, Obasan products   are fabricated by our experienced craftspeople in our own   totally organic environment. We control every aspect of the crafting of your Obasan mattress, pillow or bedding accessory.   Materials are selected based upon strict functional requirements.
